Perinatal and Paediatric Epidemiology (PPE)

The inaugural Perinatal and Paediatric Epidemiology Special Interest Group (PPESIG) breakfast at the Population Health Congress in Brisbane, July 2008 was a great success.

Thank you to those who volunteered to raise issues for discussion (Evi Muggli – preconceptional folic acid and perinatal outcomes of twins; Jennifer Powers – longitudinal analysis of alcohol use in pregnancy; Natasha Nassar – assessing environmental exposure on hypospadias).

We all enjoyed the ensuing discussion and the comments made by our discussant Sonia Hernández-Diaz. If you would like further information on the PPE Special Interest Group or to be included on our email list, please contact the co-convenors Christine Roberts or Jane Ford.*
